Nut Bush City Limits

Went to the 21st of a lovely young woman I've known since twenty years before she was born - not a major lot of contact in the intervening years but enough to know she has grown into a fine young lady. Competent, capable and content in her abilities and aspirations.

I do envy this generation their confidence and direction, the world on their doorstep and the opportunities blossoming into the years they have ahead of them.

It seems they will never know the peace and fantasy of a longer childhood or the security of world that existed before, Bush, 9-11 and when Terrorism was confined with in borders.

But I would still like a fence.

So hard to be positive.

Buggered if I know which way is up now, came to Sydney to find my creative centre, to bleed ink and love family. All now it seems flushed down the proverbial toilet.

I've now found myself responsible for a job, I'm not interested in, not qualified to do, not capable of - and quite frankly don't give or care squat about. .... you tell me how does this happen ...???

...and after almost two years I still can't even let my poor cats out into the garden ... the only thing I asked for was help with a fence..... *sigh* families ....
